Staying in Vizzini
Relais La Terrazza is immersed in the Val di Noto hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An oasis of silence and tranquility, it is the ideal stop for a Slow Tourism that enhances, in particular, the territories of Vizzini, Caltagirone, Militello in Val di Catania, Ragusa, Modica, Palazzolo Acreide. The whole area is at the center of suggestive nature trails, as well as food and wine: from cheese to wine, through oil, craft beers and typical pork dishes.
Surrounded by a vast land and a large terrace paved with a canopy, built-in barbecue and outdoor sink, the house offers a common part without architectural barriers. The large hall / entrance with air conditioner is easily accessible even with a wheelchair or stroller.
The bright kitchen is adjacent to the living room, with an additional entrance. The double bedroom with air conditioner has a large bathroom equipped for people with mobility needs. The shower tray is at floor level and also accessible with a wheelchair. In the shower there is a folding seat and along the whole bath there are support handles.
There is also a double / twin room, also without architectural barriers, and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a loft double bed. The common part has an additional bathroom and a technical room.
To access the Relais La Terrazza, you need to drive a ramp that leads from one side to the terrace, on the other to the back of the house. you can park either on the terrace (perfectly paved), or at the back of the house (flat terrain). In the latter case, to access the house you have to go down five steps.
