Staying in Matera
"Dimora Spine Bianche" is a holiday home located in the center of Matera, it is a 35 mq studio flat located on the ground floor, it was recently renovated on the occasion of Matera European Capital of Culture, inside it was designed without barriers for people in wheelchairs.
The structure is accessible both at the entrance where there is a platform to overcome the 2 steps and both inside where the furniture and bathroom fixtures have been designed considering the size of a wheelchair. For example, the kitchen has space under the top to be able to move in a wheelchair, the same for the bathroom sink, furthermore the shower has been designed flush with the floor to be able to access it comfortably.
